If you’re looking into taking a Priest down the PVP path, on the surface, you wouldn’t think a healing class would fare well, but to the learn’ed player, the Priest is one of the biggest PVP powerhouses around.
To be more specific, a Shadow Priest can really hold their own. They are arguably the most powerful PVP class in the game. Shadow priests can dish out a significant amount of damage in a short time. Now granted they also have their weaknesses, 1 being that they have survivability issues, however their strengths far outweigh that.
Now if you’re going to have a go with the Shadow Priest, one of the first things you’re going to have to learn is how to counter a Shaman, Mage, Warrior, Warlock, Druid, Hunter, Rogue, Paladin, Deathknight or even another Priest…however it doesn’t stop there, you also need to know how to deal with the various spec’s that each class can take, how’s that for complicated!?
This is why it’s critical you find yourself a good guide to follow so you can speed up the learning process instead of stumbling around learning everything yourself, which can eat up a significant amount of your time. So to save yourself frustration, check back at Priest PVP soon, I’m going to have some tips, tactics and an optimal priest talent spec for you in the next post…
