If you’re new to the Priest class, you might not think the Priest, a healing class, would be any good at PVP. However, if you did, you would be wrong, dead wrong. Many may argue that the Priest is in fact the STRONGEST PVP class available to play as.
The secret to the priest’s power lies in their ability to shift over to the dark side and put points in the Shadow talent tree. This tree allows for this class to dish out huge amounts of damage in a relatively short amount of time. The Shadow Priest has plenty of DOT’s at their disposal as well as Fear…they even have a handy shield spell which can be cast every 15 seconds.
Now If you’re looking to master all of this, you’re setting yourself up for quite the challenge, because not only do you need to find the best way to face off against a Shaman, Mage, Warrior, Warlock, Druid, Hunter, Rogue, Paladin, Deathknight or even another Priest, but you’re also going to have to figure out how to deal with the different talent specs that each class may go for. You would be handling an Affliction Warlock a bit differently than you would a Demonology Warlock or Destruction Warlock for instance.
So with that in mind, check back in soon at Shadow Priest PVP, I’m going to have a powerful Priest talent spec as well as tips and tactics up real soon!
